Hemp is softer warmer and more absorbent than Cotton.  It has three times the tensile strength of Cotton and is many more times more durable than Cotton.

Approximately 50% of all chemicals used in American agriculture are used in the growing of Cotton.  Hemp needs no chemicals during growing as it has few weed or insect enemies.

Hemp will grow to harvest stage in 90 days and produce three times as much fibre as Cotton with no herbicides or fertilisers.   The added benefit to farmers is the production of root matter produced during growing that will break down quickly and build up and benefit the soil rather than depleting it.

Each year we globally consume 89 million tonnes of fibre, a third of which is Cotton.  Due to Cotton shortages each year the need for synthetic fibres grows by 7% and these synthetic fibres produce toxic waste.
